this game is an absolute peach! the campaign is so good, the graphics, the gunfights/chainsaw duels its top class. However it doesnt matter how good you are at the game multiplayer is hard,,, im level 72 but thats from playing ranked horde,, when i go online i suck eggs peeps it does get really annoying when your pumping 4-5 shotgun shells into locust scum and then they turn round and shhot you once and u explode! but cannot fault campaign or horde

I find that GoW2 has a fairly weak storyline compared to it's older brother. The story seems to go round in circles between being above ground and in the hollow.
The multiplayer is what really makes the title stronger. Different modes including Guardian, Annex and Warzone, make it much more enjoyable.
Also now you can have the option of getting all 19maps and the deleted scene for as little as 800MP. Woth while in preparation for GoW3 next year, which will be alot better.
The main things that this does better than the original, is the way the lancer responds. The more challenging multiplayer and stronger horde mode.
It's worht 9pounds, but if you can grab hold of the GOTY edition, it'll be worth it a lot more.

Gears of war 2 is one of the best games on the Xbox 360 and although it is a little too short the game is so breathtakingly good that you dont mind and replays are still fun I have just finished my third play through on split screen with my nephew. The graphics are superb and the set pieces and story create a cinematic masterpiece I loved it and at this price so will you.
